Ariane Thakore

Ariane Thakore Ginwala has been practicing as an Interior Architect since1997 , while based out of ahmedabad her projects have taken place across India. Ariane trained at the Kent institute of Art and Design(UK Creative Arts) and also carried a Masters degree in Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics.She has completed over a hundred projects in interior design, retail and restaurant design, furniture design and sustainable spatial planning. She was a visiting faculty at APIED Vidyanagr. She is a guest lecturer and juror at NID and SID, Ahmedabad.
Ariane s expertise includes restoration of ageing and antique furniture, deploying rare artisanal techniques and enhancing local craft approaches with a contemporary design sensibility. Lately she has ventured into architecture and is working on a inaugural initiative that will bring a unique Wild life Experience, located in Central India involving tradionat sustainable design , community led artisan approaches and integrating permaculture design.
